about me
Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Shelby Krajnik. I am a compassionate ICU nurse by profession and an enthusiastic photographer by heart. While nursing is my first love and true calling, photography has become a captivating and rewarding second passion in my life.
My photographic journey began a couple of years ago when my mom acquired her first "nice camera." Intrigued by the possibilities, I started borrowing it to capture moments with friends and document my travels. Little did I know, this would spark a creative flame within me.
As fate would have it, my path intertwined with that of my best friend, an incredibly talented photographer. In the early stages of her career, I found myself assisting and modeling for her photoshoots. The experience was transformative, and it wasn't long before I decided to venture into capturing the beauty of moments myself.
Photography has become a medium for me to freeze time, encapsulating the essence of fleeting moments and preserving them for a lifetime. Whether it's the warmth of a smile, the play of light and shadow, or the subtle details that often go unnoticed, I strive to create images that tell a story and evoke emotions.
Join me on this visual journey, where each frame is a testament to the joy and beauty that can be found in the simple moments of life. From the bedside to behind the lens, my dual passions in nursing and photography have shaped who I am, and I'm excited to share these multifaceted aspects of my life with you. Thank you for stepping into my world of captured memories and visual storytelling.
Hugs.
